Looking for volunteers

At its July 9 meeting, the ILS steering committee approved new guidelines for endorsing candidates (as a supplement to our existing endorsement policy). These can be found here. For the upcoming November election there are not many races where an ILS endorsement would be requested by a candidate—perhaps in one of the school board elections—so this new process can be tried out without much pressure! We need a 3-4 person short-term working group tasked with implementing the guidelines prior to the November election and working out any kinks that might arise.
