Building Resilient Neighborhoods

Can green infrastructure —trees, rain gardens, native plants—reduce flooding, increase biodiversity, make our neighborhoods cooler and healthier?

Join the discussion Wednesday, September 2nd, 6 to 7:30 pm at Sulzer Regional Library. ILS will host  speakers from the 40th Ward Environmental Board, Openlands, the 47th Ward  Green Council, the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District, Save Your Ash, and Ravenswood Neighbors to talk about about green infrastructure we can put to use now!
