Why write postcards to Virginia? Voters in Virginia will be picking a new governor this November; Abigail Spanberger, a Democrat, and Winsome Earle-Sears, a MAGA Republican.
This is a state race, but one with national implications:
The Commonwealth is a national bellwether.
A Spanberger win will lessen the MAGA hold on Governorships, which is crucial to change MAGA policies at the state level.
A Republican win in Virginia might be seen as a major embrace of Trump and Trumpism, even if it gets decided on other grounds.
Down-ballot races matter.
We will provide the postcards, the addresses, and the script. You provide the stamps for the postcards you write or donate money to purchase stamps.
