Voters in Virginia will head to the polls this November to pick a new governor. Former Rep. Abigail Spanberger, a Democrat, and Virginia Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears, a MAGA Republican, are the candidates.
This is a state race, but one with national implications. (1) The Commonwealth is a national bellwether. It is here where positions, comms, and policy can, and will, be tested and impact the 2026 midterms.
