HANDS OFF CHICAGO is a grassroots effort to oppose the National Guard, ICE raids and other military action in Chicago. The group offers tips and resources for citizens to help protect their neighbors when military activity occurs.
Resources for ICE actions and immigration issues:
• Save the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant & Refugee Rights (ICIRR) hotline to report suspected ICE sightings into your phone: 855-435-7693. Speed is important in these moments to help protect people, and this way you won't have to go googling for it in real time.
• If you know anyone who needs immigration legal or community support, they can complete this form or call the hotline: 855-435-7693
• Sign up for Eyes On ICE text alerts, which will notify subscribers by zip code in the event of confirmed ICE presence in your neighborhood.

Silence is compliance, so we need to get LOUD. Every night the military is in Chicago, residents are encouraged to go outside at 7:00PM and bang pots and pans, sing, chant, or make noise for five minutes.
When neighbors ask what’s going on, talk with them about what’s happening.
